Visiting The “Pink City” Of India...Jaipur..! A Memorable Experience Indeed...!

“India is known for its rich culture and heritage.” One would undoubtedly agree to this statement after a visit to the “Pink City” of the country, Jaipur. Yes. Jaipur, the largest city of Rajasthan is indeed the epitome of magnificence, beauty and vibrancy. This city provides a visual and cultural feast to its tourists. With splendid architecture and a display of spectacular handicrafts and jewellery, Jaipur is certainly one of the ideal tourist destinations. The majestic palaces, tranquil temples and beautiful havelis further add to the beauty, magnificence, life and colour of the city’s uniqueness. The serene, lush gardens and the captivating floral array uplifts the beauty of the fabulous, attractive landscapes. Being India’s first planned city, it definitely presents itself as a versatile tourist destination. Would one ever miss an opportunity to visit such a place with a perfect blend of culture, heritage and art..? The answer is obvious , isn’t it? Well..I was lucky enough to get a golden opportunity to visit Jaipur...! And there I was...in ‘The Pink City’..! We had planned the trip at the right time, between October and March. The weather is normally quite pleasant during this period of six months, thereby allowing tourists to explore more without getting scorched in the seething heat. We visited various monuments such as the Hawa Mahal, the Jaipur palace, etc. I was totally awestruck after seeing the flamboyance of the monuments. The beautiful gardens and temples was indeed a grand visual feast. The handicrafts, exquisite jewellery did succeed in making me buy a bag full of them! Each and every festival of the city such as the Teej festival, the elephant festival, etc. made a picturesque view that enthralled me to the core..! The highlight of the city is its people, dressed in ethnic attire and bright turbans! Well...it was time to leave the place..I truly had a sense of immense satisfaction while leaving...And yes! It was a memorable experience indeed...!
